Dear Parents,
Welcome to Room 3. I’m looking forward to another busy and entertaining year next year. Our theme will be ‘Curiosity and Creativity’.
The following is the basic tool kit that the children will need for their classroom programme.  These are ‘at least’ numbers, and it is expected that items will be replaced during the year as the need arises – I will be doing regular inspections!
It would be really useful if the children could come ready with this equipment on the first day of school so we can get off to a flying start. If it is named it makes life a lot easier.
In addition to this, children will be offered a subscription to mathletics which will be purchased through school. At this stage I am unsure what the costs will be, but will let you know asap in the new term. With the new ‘ultrafast broadband’ due to be installed early in the year this should be a really worthwhile investment. We will also be trialling a spelling version of the programme.
Have a great Christmas season, and a wonderful start to the New Year.
