Good Monday morning everyone. Welcome to the end of what has been a strange term. The children have, for the most part, remained resilient and have got back into their school routines. We are hoping, as we all are, that Term 4 is a nice ‘normal’ term to finish the year. We have 2 camps (Yr 5&6, Yr 7&8), our Swimming carnival, Athletics, Student council activities including the famous water fun afternoon and even a colour run. Teachers will complete testing throughout the term and parents will get an academic report towards the end of term.
At hui today we introduced our value for the week, Respect. Respect is an important value and one that can make a person’s day when used on them. We encourage the children to think about Respect in their words, actions and work while here at Kaimai School and in their interactions in the community and at home.
We also celebrated our classroom certificate recipients and have our ‘Student of the Term’ awards to be presented on Friday.
Have a great week everyone.
