Last week, year 5 and 6 students returned from an action packed camp experience. They weren’t the plans we hand initially made, but that didn’t stop everyone from having a fantastic time! For some of our students, this was their very first camp!
Many students agree that the highlight of camp this year was our visit to Waimarino. We spent 5 hours on the water and participated in various activities such as kayaking, diving off the diving boards, cruising down the hydroslide, swinging off the tarzan rope and of course the slip and slide! There were also some more adrenaline fueled activities – the UFO and the blob. Ask your kids all about them and I’m sure they’ll be happy to tell you.
When the students needed a break they could pop into the warm pool to recharge their batteries. Such fun!
