The first week back has been fun for Ruma Tui, we have spent as much time outside as we can. Our overall topic is ‘Our Place’, and in maths this has involved learning about compass directions so we can find our way around our place, Kaimai School, or wherever our place happens to be. This morning we had fun orienteering around the school, following a mixture of compass point and word clues (as well as watching where other people go of course!).
