Kia ora, my name is Matthew Jackson and I am delighted to welcome you and your whānau to Kaimai School.

Our vision at Kaimai School is to be a rural school providing enriched educational opportunities in a safe, stimulating environment. This vision is underpinned by our school values of Belonging | Tūrangawaewae, Integrity | Pono, Gratitude | Whakawhetai, and Resilience | Manawaroa.

Our passionate staff are committed to providing the best learning opportunities for all our students, ensuring we do the best for our Kaimai Kids while making the most of our amazing rural setting.

This involves engaging students in rich curriculum opportunities, including extracurricular trips, camps, sporting events, visits with subject experts. We also ensure we make the most of our environment and resources, using our extensive native area, orchard, skatepark, swimming pool, multiple play areas and well-resourced classes to make Kaimai School the best place it can be!

As a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L) school, we bring our vision and values to life by explicitly teaching and celebrating positive behaviours alongside clear expectations. This approach supports our students in developing the social, emotional, and self-regulatory skills they need to be respectful, responsible members of the Kaimai school community.
